London Tigers F.C. is a football club based in Greenford, in the London Borough of Ealing, England. The club plays in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division.
History
The club was formed in 1986, initially as Marylebone FC before becoming London Tigers in 1997, then merged with Kingsbury Town F.C. in 2006 to form Kingsbury London Tigers,[1] they then reverted to London Tigers FC in 2011. The club plays in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division.
London Tigers also developed into a charity organisation established in 1997, diversifying their portfolio to deliver a range of services for disadvantaged communities. The head office is based in the City of Westminster, but the organisation works across the London Boroughs of Camden, Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Tower Hamlets, Redbridge and Barking & Dagenham.
In the 2008–09 season Kingsbury London Tigers achieved 5th place in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division [2] In the following season the club reached the 1st qualifying round in the FA Cup for the first time. In the FA Vase the team also made history, reaching the first round proper after winning two qualifying games against Hatfield Town and Takeley before losing to Biggleswade United in the first round.
