The 2010 Selangor FA Season is Selangor FA's 5th season playing soccer in the Malaysia Super League Since its inception in 2004.
Selangor FA began the season on 10 January 2010. They will also compete in two domestic cups; The FA Cup Malaysia and Malaysia Cup.
Teams
A total of 14 teams compete in the 2010 season which includes the top 11 teams that participated in the 2009 season and champions and runners-up of the 2009 Malaysia Premier League.
PDRM FA were relegated at the end of the 2009 Malaysia Super League season after finishing in the bottom place of the league table.Furthermore, UPB-MyTeam FC and Kuala Muda Naza FC withdrawed from the league after the conclusion of the 2009 season.[1]
The three teams were replaced by 2009 Malaysia Premier League runners-up T-Team FC, third-placed Johor FA and fourth-placed Kuala Lumpur FA secured direct promotion to the Super League.
