The 2015–16 season is FC Dinamo București's 67th consecutive season in Liga I. In this season, Dinamo plays in Liga I, Cupa României and Cupa Ligii. Dinamo continued its insolvency procedure, thus the club couldn't buy any player, bringing only free agents and players on loan. In September, the Court announced that Dinamo fulfilled the criteria to exit insolvency.^[1]

On 22 November, Dinamo defeated its greatest rival, Steaua, 3-1. This was the first win against Steaua after four and a half years.
