The 2015–16 Maltese FA Trophy is the 78th version of the knockout tournament. The competition will start on 5 September 2015 and will end on 14 May 2016.[1]
Format
This version of the Maltese FA Trophy is a single elimination tournament contested by 65 teams. The winner will earn a spot in the Europa League. Matches which are level after regulation will go to extra time and then penaties to determine a winner.[2]
