Dada Murad Ali Shah Sahib is the one who established Aurangabad after winning it under mughal empire .There are many personalities from sayyed families known in there times from Dada Murad Ali sahib to Dada Jeevan ali sahib,mian Mohammd zamaan sahib,Sayyed Abdul Aziz sahib(nanne mian),Masoom Ali sahib,Talib Ali sahib,Mehboob Ali sahib, Sayyed Iftikhar Ali sahib,sayyed matloob Ali,Sayyed Saeed ul hasan sahib(Ex-minister)UP Govt. is the one of the most famous leader of western up in 90's from Aurangabad.Nowadays Sayyed Himayat Ali and Sayyed Hussain Ali are taking foward the political background of Late Mr saeedul hasan sahib. Aurangabad is a bustling market and lies on the state highway, connecting Bulandshahr and Garhmukteshwar, leading further to Moradabad. It is 15 km. from Bulandshahr towards Garhmukteshwar. It is a famous Gur mandi and a trade centre of the area. In the centre of Aurangabad is situated an Old Mosque - Jama Masjid and old nageswar mahadev temple. Old Nageswar Mahadev temple is the famous place in Aurangabad and near the temple a RAM LEELA Ground. Aurangabad forms part of larger potato growing belt and also had a cold storage facility named "Mehboob Cold Storage Pvt Ltd" founded and promoted by Late Mian "Syed Mohd Jammel" - a successful businessman of the region. Now, the business is managed by his widow & son's: Mohammadi Tayyaba Bibi (D/o. Late Mian Matloob Ali, erstwhile Zamindar of Jarool and Chairman of Town Area - Aurangabad) and Syed Mohd Kafeel, Syed Mohd Nadeem and Syed Mohd Javed. Interesting to note - Aurangabad has many mango orchids; famous of them "Hussaini Bagh" managed by heirs of Mian "Syed Jeevan Ali". Sugar Mill There is a famous sugar mill Anamika Sugar Mills Pvt Ltd (Agauta Sugar Mills Pvt Ltd) near Aurangabad at Bhandoria village. it is about 3.5 km far away from Aurangabad town.
