Aurum City, California

Aurum City is a former settlement in El Dorado County, California.[1] It was located 2 miles (3.2 km) southeast of El Dorado.[1]

A post office operated at Aurum City from 1852 to 1853.[1] "Aurum" is the Latin word for gold.
