The Bairabi Sairang Railway is a railway line from Bairabi station to Sairang. It is a part of Northeast Frontier Railway zone of Indian Railways.
Technical Features
The broad gauge railway line from Bairabi to Sairang railway stations near Aizawl, was completed on 21 March 2016,[1] at a cost of 326.51 cr INR. An estimated 28 hectares (69 acres) of land was required for the construction of 51 kilometres (32 mi) long rail line. The Bairabi-Sairang rail link required construction of 204 bridges, 24 tunnels and four stations.[2] [3]
