Ballabio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 km (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 6 km (3.7 mi) north of Lecco in the Valsassina.
Historically, it has been a center for production of cheese, famous brands from the area including Galbani and Locatelli.
