Bellingham railway station is in the London Borough of Lewisham in south London. It is in Travelcard Zone 3, and the station and all trains are operated by Thameslink. The station buildings lie on Randlesdown Road in Bellingham; the platforms are below street level.
The station, which lies on what today is known as the Catford Loop, was opened on 1 July 1892.
Services
Bellingham is served half-hourly by West Hampstead Thameslink to Sevenoaks Thameslink services. Many peak services run to Bedford.
The typical off-peak service is:
- 2 trains per hour to West Hampstead Thameslink, calling at Catford, Crofton Park, Nunhead, Peckham Rye, Denmark Hill, Elephant & Castle, London Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon and St Pancras International, Kentish Town. In the late evenings and at weekends, these trains generally terminate at London Blackfriars.
- 2 trains per hour to Sevenoaks, calling at Beckenham Hill, Ravensbourne, Shortlands, Bromley South, Bickley, St Mary Cray, Swanley, Eynsford, Shoreham, Otford and Bat & Ball.
