Bhagat Singh Birth Place Memorial (भगत सिंह जन्मस्थल स्मारक, पाकिस्तान) in memory of Indian freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, is in the village banga, Pakistan of Faisalabad District (previously called Lyallpur) in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[1][2] This is not to be confused with Bhagat Singh Ancestral Home Memorial at Khatkar Kalan in the village Khatkar Kalan, Punjab, India.

It was in 1907 that Bhagat Singh, the famous Indian martyr was born here.[3] Bhagat Singh's ancestral village was near Banga, India, his family had just moved and was living in the canal colonies of called chak 105 GB which in now renamed Banga, Pakistan in Layallpur district (now called Faisalabad district) where people from the area of Banga, India had settled when he was born there. It is very old village. Still there are many historical houses built by sikhs, who migrated to India after the Partition of India.[1]

The Bhagat Singh Birth Place Memorial in Pakistan is based in Banga village in Faisalabad District (previously called Lyallpur) in the Punjab province of Pakistan where Bhagat Singh was born in 1907.[1] Government of Pakistan has declared it a national heritage site, Government of Punjab, India has offered help for the purchase and setting up of a world class memorial and the Government of Pakistan has already spent 5 crore rupees to preserve the site.[2][4][5][6]

The Bhagat Singh Memorial Fair in Pakistan is an annual fair held by Bhagat Singh Memorial Foundation of Pakistan at the birth place of Bhagat Singh Banga (previously called Chak 105 GB) village in Faisalabad District (previously called Lyallpur) in the Punjab province of Pakistan on his martyrdom day of 23 March.[2][4][5]
