Buczek [ˈbut͡ʂɛk] (German Butschek) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ujazd, within Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north of Ujazd, 7 km (4 mi) south-east of Strzelce Opolskie, and 38 km (24 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
