Kopanina ([kɔpaˈnina]; German: Kopainberg) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ujazd, within Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Ujazd, 10 km (6 mi) south of Strzelce Opolskie, and 39 km (24 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
