Ryan Thomas Cordell (born March 31, 1992) is an American professional baseball outfielder currently playing for the Frisco RoughRiders, in the Texas Rangers' organization.[1]

Cordell played college baseball at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 11th round of the 2013 MLB draft. He began playing in the Rangers' organization in 2013, posting a .248 batting average with the Spokane Indians.[2]

In 2014, Cordell started the baseball season with the Hickory Crawdads and was later promoted to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans in late August of that year. Prior to the 2015 season, he was converted from an outfielder to shortstop.[3] He started the 2015 season with the High Desert Mavericks and was moved mid-season to finish with the Texas Rangers' AA affiliate Frisco RoughRiders, transferring back to outfield and utility player status. After the 2015 season, Cordell was brought up as a reserve batter for the Rangers' AAA affiliate Round Rock Express championship series in September 2015.

In 2016, Cordell began the season with the Frisco RoughRiders, where he posted two grand slams[4] in the first 13 games of the season, to join Bryce Harper[5] of the Washington Nationals as one of only two players in professional baseball to net two grand slams in the first 3 weeks of the 2016 season, a feat which garnered him MILB Texas League[6] Player of the Month[7] for April 2016.

Michael De León

Michael De León (born January 14, 1997) is a Dominican professional baseball shortstop in the Texas Rangers organization.

De León was signed by the Texas Rangers as an international free agent in July 2013.[8] He made his professional debut the next season with the Hickory Crawdads.[9] He also spent time with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and Double-A Frisco RoughRiders. After the season, he played in the Arizona Fall League, where he became the youngest player in the history of the league.[10]

Travis Demeritte

Travis Timothy Demeritte (born September 30, 1994) is an American professional baseball second baseman in the Texas Rangers organization. He was drafted by the Rangers in the first round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft.[11][12]

Ti'Quan Forbes

Edward Ti'Quan Forbes (born August 26, 1996) is an American professional baseball third baseman in the Texas Rangers organization.

Forbes attended Columbia High School in Columbia, Mississippi. As a senior he hit .427 with three home runs and 32 runs batted in (RBI).[13] Forbes was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the second round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.[14][15] He signed with the Rangers and made his professional debut with the Arizona League Rangers.[16] In 48 games, he hit .241/.338/.282 over 174 at-bats.

Jared Hoying

Jared William Hoying (born May 18, 1989) is a baseball outfielder currently with the Round Rock Express in the Texas Rangers minor league system.

Prior to playing professionally, he attended Fort Loramie High School and then the University of Toledo. He was taken by the Rangers in the 10th round of the 2010 draft and began his professional career that season.[17]

In 2010, he hit .325, had an on-base percentage of .378 and slugged .543 with ten home runs, 20 stolen bases and 79 hits in 62 games for the Spokane Indians. He was a Northwest League All-Star and was named the league's Most Valuable Player. He steadily moved through the Rangers' minor league system and reached Triple-A for the first time in 2013. In 2014 Jared was selected to the Pacific Coast League All-Star team. On August 31, Jared became the first Round Rock Express player to have a 20 HR-20 SB season since Cody Ransom in 2007.

Ariel Bolívar Jurado Agrazal (born January 30, 1996) is a Panamanian professional baseball pitcher in the Texas Rangers organization.

Jurado signed with the Texas Rangers as an international free agent in December 2012.[18] He made his professional debut in 2014 with the Dominican Summer League Rangers. In 2014 he pitched for the Arizona League Rangers. Jurado spent 2015 with the Hickory Crawdads and was named the Nolan Ryan Minor League Pitcher of the Year by the Rangers after going 12–1 with a 2.45 earned run average (ERA) with 95 strikeouts and only 12 walks in 99 innings.[19][20]

José Leclerc

José Ramón Leclerc (born December 19, 1993) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers organization.

The Rangers added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.[21]

Yohander Manuel Méndez Ortega (born January 17, 1995) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher in the Texas Rangers organization.

Méndez signed with the Texas Rangers as an international free agent in July 2011. The Rangers added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.[21]

Joshua Brandon Morgan (born November 16, 1995) is an American professional baseball infielder in the Texas Rangers organization.

Morgan attended Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, California.[22][23] Morgan was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the third round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.[24] He signed with the Rangers and made his professional debut with the Arizona League Rangers.[25] He was later promoted to the Spokane Indians. He finished the year hitting .322/.436/.347 in 56 games.

Connor Sadzeck

Connor William Sadzeck (born October 1, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Texas Rangers organization.

Sadzeck was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 45th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft out of Crystal Lake Central High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois. He did not sign and attended Howard College. He was then drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 11th round of the 2011 MLB draft. He missed the 2014 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery.[26] The Rangers added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.[21]

Yeyson Yrizarri Cruz (born February 2, 1997) is a Dominican professional baseball shortstop and second baseman for the Texas Rangers organization.

Yrizarri signed with the Rangers for a $1.375 million signing bonus in July 2013 . Due to injuries in the Rangers’ system, the Rangers promoted Yrizarri to the Round Rock Express of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League in June 2015.[27][28] The Rangers returned him to the Spokane Indians of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League, where he was selected to appear in the All-Star Game.[29]

In 2016, Yrizarri began the season with the Hickory Crawdads of the Class A South Atlantic League.[30]

Yrizarri's uncle, Deivi Cruz, played in Major League Baseball.[27]
