Davey River
Davey River is a river in the South West Tasmania. It is within the South West Wilderness, and drains into Payne Bay – the inner part of Port Davey – which lies west of Bathurst Harbour. Its catchment starts in the west of the Frankland Range.
A section of the lower Davey River gorge is known as Hells Gates[1][2] - providing confusion with the entry to Macquarie Harbour which has an entrance by the same name - Hells Gates.
