Dickenson (also, Dickinson)[2] is a former settlement in Merced County, California.[1] It was located on the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad 3.25 miles (5.2 km) southeast of Le Grand,[2] at an elevation of 272 feet (83 m).[1] Dickenson still appeared on USGS maps as of 1918.[1]

The name honors William Legrand Dickinson.[2]
