European Bat lyssavirus 2 (EBLV-2) is one of three species of Rabies-like virus of the genus Lyssavirus found in Daubenton's bats (Myotis daubentonii) in Britain.[1]

EBLV-2 is a negative-sense, single-stranded RNA virus.

Transmission

EBLV-2 is primarily transmitted through bat bite and demonstrated a low-level of transmission via aerosolization of saliva, urine and feces.[2]
