Fishersgate railway station is a railway station in West Sussex, England, serving the area known as Fishersgate between Portslade and Southwick at the most eastern edge of the County of West Sussex bordering the boundary of Brighton and Hove City Council. The station is operated by Southern.

History

The station was opened by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway on 3 September 1905, and was originally named Fishersgate Halt. On 5 May 1969 it was renamed Fishersgate.[1]

There is step-free access to both platforms.

The station is operated by Southern and is on the West Coastway Line. It has no ticket office but there are PERTIS 'Permit to Travel' passenger-operated ticket-issuing machines at the entrances to each platform. And a self-service ticket machine which takes cash or credit cards.
