Grand Theater Station (Chinese: 大剧院站; pinyin: Dà Jùyuàn Zhàn), formerly Dajuyuan is a station on Line 1 (Luobao) and Line 2 (Shekou) of the Shenzhen Metro. It started operations on 28 December 2004. It is located underground at the junction of Shennan Donglu (Chinese: 深南东路) and Jiefang Road (Chinese: 解放路) in the Luohu District of Shenzhen, China. The station takes its name from the Shenzhen Grand Theater (Chinese: 深圳大剧院).[1] It is the closest station to The MixC (a major luxury shopping mall) and the Shenzhen Book City (Chinese: 深圳书城).[2] It is an interchange station between Lines 1 and 2 and will interchange with the future Line 9.
