Hi-Tech Park Station (Chinese: 高新园站), formerly Gaoxinyuan Station, is a station on Line 1 (Luobao) of the Shenzhen Metro. It started operations on 28 September 2009.^[1] It is located underground at the intersection of Shennan Dadao (Chinese: 深南大道), Tonggu Road (Chinese: 铜鼓路) and Kejinan Shilu (Chinese: 科技南十路),^[2] in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen, China. The station is named after the Shenzhen Hi-Tech Park (Chinese: 深圳高新技术园), but the name has been criticized as inappropriate since it is actually closer to Dachong (Chinese: 大冲).^[3]
