Guomao Station (Chinese: 国贸站; pinyin: Guómào Zhàn; literally: "International Trade Centre Station"), is a station on Line 1 (Luobao) of the Shenzhen Metro. It started operations on 28 December 2004. It is located underground at the junction of Renmin Nanlu (Chinese: 人民南路) and Jiabin Road (Chinese: 嘉宾路) in Luohu District, Shenzhen, China. It is named after the Guomao Building (International Trade Centre Building) (Chinese: 国贸大厦).[1] It will become an interchange station between Line 1 and the future Line 8. Along with the adjacent Laojie Station (where it is now used for cross-platform interchange), Guomao Station has an unusual layout with the two tracks situated above each other on two levels.
