Gubin, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Gubin is a village in Bosnia and Herzegovina, near the Livno Valley. The village is situated in the municipality of Livno.

History

Gubin suffered a drop in population following the aftermath of Operation Storm, with the Serbian majority fleeing to Serbia in 1995. In later years a small number of the residents returned.

The village was completely devastated by Croatian forces after the Yugoslav wars, but organisations such as the United Methodist Church have raised funds to help rebuild the town.
