Huitang Town (simplified Chinese: 灰汤镇; traditional Chinese: 灰湯鎮; pinyin: Huītāng Zhèn) is an urban town in Ningxiang County, Changsha City, Hunan Province, China. It is surrounded by Fengmuqiao Township on the northwest, Xieleqiao Town on the northeast, and Jinsou Township on the south. As of the 2000 census it had a population of 20,559 and an area of 43 square kilometres (17 sq mi).

Administrative division

The Town is divided into six villages and one community: Tangquan Community (汤泉社区), Quanjiang Village (泉江村), Huaguo Village (花果村), Ningnan Village (宁南村), Xinlian Village (新联村), Shuangjian Village (双建村), Huitang Village (灰汤村).

Geography

The Wu River, a tributary of the Wei River, flows through the town.[1]

Culture

Huaguxi is the most influence local theater.

Attractions

Huitang Hot Spring (灰汤温泉), is a scenic spot in the town.[1]
