Inter Aviation Services (Pty) Ltd, which trades as Interair South Africa, is a privately owned airline based in Johannesburg, South Africa. It operates scheduled passenger services from Johannesburg to regional destinations in Africa. Its main base is O. R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg.[1]

History

The airline was established in 1993 and started operations in 1994. It initially operated domestic services, but these have ceased. Regional services were started in April 1995, and the airline now provides scheduled services within Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands, using a fleet of Boeing aircraft.

Interair South Africa is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA/IOSA certified), and the African Airlines Association (AFRAA).
