Kang Min-hyuk (Hangul: 강민혁; born on June 28, 1991)[1] is a South Korean drummer, actor and singer. His name is also written as MinHyuk, Min Hyuk, Minhyuk, or Min-Hyuk. He is the drummer of South Korean rock band CNBlue, which debuted in January 2010 in South Korea. Before that, they debuted as indie band in 2009 in Japan then made major debut in October 2011 in Japan.[2]
Life and career
Acting career
In 2010, Kang Min-hyuk began his acting career in an omnibus film "Acoustic" alongside his fellow CNBLUE member Lee Jong-hyun. He then received another role in the SBS Drama "It's Okay, Daddy's Girl".
In 2011, Min-hyuk was cast in MBC Drama "Heartstrings", a South Korean youthful melodrama alongside CN Blue's Jung Yong-hwa.
In 2012, he has a role in a KBS Drama "My Husband Got a Family" portraying the role of Se Kwang, the playboy brother of the main character.[3][4]
In 2013, Kang Min-hyuk was cast in the SBS drama "The Heirs" portraying the role of Yoon Chan-young, a top-of-the-class high school student and an ideal boyfriend of Lee Bo Na, who was portrayed by Krystal Jung
