Kedrovy (Russian: Кедро́вый) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Yemelyanovsky District of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, located 50 kilometers (31 mi) from Krasnoyarsk, the administrative center of the krai. Population: 4,692(2010 Census);[3] 5,223 (2002 Census).[7]

History

Until January 1, 2007, Kedrovy had closed status.[8]

Administrative and municipal status

Within the framework of administrative divisions, Kedrovy is incorporated within Yemelyanovsky District as an urban-type settlement—an administrative unit equal in status to that of the selsoviets.[1] As a municipal division, Kedrovy is incorporated separately as Kedrovy Urban Okrug.[2]
