Kostelec (German Kostelzen) is a village and municipality (obec) in Tachov District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 30.87 square kilometres (11.92 sq mi), and has a population of 533 (as at 31 December 2007).
Kostelec lies approximately 33 kilometres (21 mi) south-east of Tachov, 27 km (17 mi) west of Plzeň, and 111 km (69 mi) south-west of Prague.
