Krishnapur is a census town in Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is under Chanditala police station in Srirampore subdivision.[1]

Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[3] Krishnapur had a population of 6676. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Krishnapur has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 73%, and female literacy is 65%. In Krishnapur, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
