LIESB

The Liga Independente das Escolas de Samba da Série B (LIESB; English: Independent League of the Samba Schools of Série B) is the leading association that organizes the Série B Group the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

After the intense atmosphere that involved the AESCRJ with internal fights between presidents and temporarily LIERJ administering this group, twelve of the Serie B associations quatroze decide founding the LIESB in order to join together and give credibility to Serie B.[1] Meanwhile, other associations have decided to join the Cultural Association the Samba is our, another league that looks after the interests of the remaining groups, in addition to Serie B.[2] even still not being formalised, have already set your first order of the parade, which was carried out in May 2015.[3]
