Magliano Vetere is a town and comune in the province of Salerno in the Campania region of south-western Italy.
Geography
Magliano Vetere (meaning "Old Magliano") is located in a hill area in the middle of the Cilento, above the Alento river valley. It borders with the municipalities of Felitto, Laurino, Monteforte Cilento, Orria and Stio. It has 2 hamlets (frazioni): Capizzo and Magliano Nuovo.
