Malaysia–Norway relations refers to a foreign relations between the two countries, Malaysia and Norway. Malaysia has a consulate in Oslo, while Norway has an embassy in Kuala Lumpur.[1]

Economic relations

Both Norway and Malaysia are oil-producing nations and petroleum industry has been the most important pillar in the bilateral relation.[2][3] Both countries also cooperates in agriculture industries.[4] Currently there are 50 Norwegian companies in Malaysia.[5] In 2006, exports to Malaysia worth around 150 million MYR, while imports from Malaysia worth around 338.7 million MYR.[5]

Security relations

Norway also provide Malaysia in the supply of military equipment and defence services.[6]
