Mayak is the common name of the new family of launch vehicles (LV) for launching spacecraft.[1]

The family is built in a modular fashion on the basis of a single line of the main engines of its own design with rods ≈80, 100, 120 and 200 t for the first stage and ≈8 ton (RD-8, RD-809M, RD-809K) for the upper stage rocket.

The advantage of single family use rocket engines, control and measurement of ground equipment and other components; rational combination of existing technical solutions (Zenit, Tsyklon) and a newly developed missile systems; implementation of waste production processes and technology use.
