Meltzer, Indiana

Meltzer is an unincorporated community in Shelby County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.^[1]

History

A post office opened at Meltzer in 1880, and remained in operation until 1905.^[2] The community has the name of a family of settlers.^[3]
