PRAG also known as Prag News (Assamese: প্ৰাগ নিউজ) is the oldest local news channel of the Northeast region of India owned by A M Television Pvt. Ltd. It was launched on 4 March, 2001. It broadcasts news and various other programs in Assamese. The channel is based in Guwahati.[1]
