Richmond Elite is a part of the American Basketball Association (ABA). Richmond Elite competes in the Colonial Division. There are over 91 professional teams in the ABA and 18 teams in the Colonial Division. Teams are in states all across America and various cities. The regular game season runs from November through March. Richmond Elite placed #11 in the Nation and 3rd in the Colonial Division in the 2011–12 Season.
