Rohrbach-lès-Bitche is a commune in the Moselle department in Lorraine in north-eastern France. The village is part of the Pays de Bitche and of the Moselle-est basin.
Geography
Rohrbach-lès-Bitche is constructed along the road from Sarreguemines to Bitche and also along the road that branches off towards Sarre-Union and Alsace bossue.
Sited in open country at elevation of around 260 metres, le village est dominated to the west by the 360-metre Guckenberg, the last hill of the Plateau lorrain. It is one of the earliest villages of the Bitcherland. The pink sandstone of the Vosges appears on the outskirts of the commune, but is mostly covered by forest.
