San Marco Evangelista is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of Naples and about 4 kilometres (2 mi) south of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,022 and an area of 5.5 square kilometres (2.1 sq mi).[1]
