Carinaro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of Naples and about 13 kilometres (8 mi) southwest of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,729 and an area of 6.3 square kilometres (2.4 sq mi).[1]
Carinaro borders the following municipalities: Aversa, Gricignano di Aversa, Marcianise, Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Teverola.
