The Seljuq Brigade (Turkoman: Selçuklular Tugayı; Arabic: لواء السلاجقة), is a Syrian Turkmen Brigade participating in the Syrian civil war, named after the Seljuk Turks.
Unlike other Turkmen militias, they are allied with the Kurdish People's Protection Units and have no ties to Turkey. The group was founded in 2013 in the northern Aleppo countryside and was temporary a part of the Suleyman Shah Brigade.
Today it's part of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Army of Revolutionaries.
The group's commander, Colonel Talal Ali Sulo was present at the SDF formation announcement, furthermore he announced the SDF offensive on Al-Hawl.[1]
