Shayukh Tahtani (Arabic: شيوخ تحتاني, also spelled Shuyukh Tahtani) is a town in northern Syria, administratively part of the Ayn al-Arab District of the Aleppo Governorate, located northeast of Aleppo along the eastern banks of the Euphrates River. Nearby localities include Shayukh al-Fawqani to the north and Ayn al-Arab to the northeast. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Shayukh Tahtani had a population of 4,338 in the 2004 census.[1]
