Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 1980
Spain was represented by musical trio Trigo Limpio at the Eurovision Song Contest 1980, held in The Hague, Netherlands. Trigo Limpio were selected internally by Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE), the Spanish broadcaster, to represent the country at the contest in the Netherlands with the song "Quédate esta noche".
At Eurovision
Trigo Limpio performed 18th on the night of the contest, following Ireland (the eventual winner) and preceding Belgium. At the close of voting Trigo Limpio had received 38 points, placing 12th in a field of 19.
