Square 2 is a shopping mall in Novena, Singapore. It has over 200 shops on five levels, selling food and beverage, fashion & accessories, education and enrichment, and beauty and wellness services. It is directly connected to Novena MRT station and accessible via Central Expressway and Pan Island Expressway.[1]
It is Singapore’s first shopping mall with a Korean branding, Square 2 has a Korean-themed shopping enclave on Level 3 which offers Korean cuisine, groceries, fashions, and beauty products and services.[1]
Square 2 was the runner up for the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Award 2010 (Specialised Project (Purpose Built) Category)[2] and winner of the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2011 (Commercial Category).[3]
Events
On 23 October 2011, tvN and Cube Entertainment held the first tvN K-pop Star Hunt (Singapore leg) in Square 2 with 20 contestants.[4]
On 15 September 2012, a flash mob of 50 people danced to the tune of Gangnam Style at Square 2 atrium, making it one of the largest scale Gangnam Style flashmobs to happen in a Singapore shopping mall.[5]
