Strtenica is a small settlement in the Kozje region (Slovene: Kozjansko) in eastern Slovenia. It belongs to the Šmarje pri Jelšah municipality. The municipality is part of the historical Lower Styria region and is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.[2]
