Gornja Vas (Slovene: Gornja vas) is a village to the east of Šentvid pri Grobelnem in the Šmarje pri Jelšah municipality in eastern Slovenia. This village lies just south of the regional Celje to Šmarje pri Jelšah road and the Celje to Zagreb railway line. The area was traditionally part of Lower Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.[2]
