Tacub massacre

The Tacub massacre was the alleged killing of over 30 Muslim Moros by Phillipine government troops in November 1971. The Moros were returning from attempting to vote in a special election; they had been turned away from the polling places in Magsaysay.[1] The troops were later identified as being military stationed at Tacub, Kauswagan, which then lent its name to the incident. At least 40 moros were killed, with no fatality on government side.
