The OA is a television drama series created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij that is slated to debut in 2016 on Netflix.[1] The first series will comprise eight 1-hour episodes and will be produced by Plan B and Anonymous Content.[2]

Production

The series was announced in March 2015.[4] Marling is starring, Batmanglij is directing, and both are writing and executive producing.[5] Scott Wilson joined the cast in February 2016 to play the adoptive father of Marling's character.[3]
