Varano Borghi is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northwest of Milan and about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southwest of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,242 and an area of 3.3 square kilometres (1.3 sq mi).[1]
