Vedano Olona is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Milan and about 7 kilometres (4 mi) southeast of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,221 and an area of 7.1 square kilometres (2.7 sq mi).[1]
