Vignale Monferrato is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) east of Turin and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,114 and an area of 18.8 square kilometres (7.3 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Vignale Monferrato contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) San Lorenzo, Mogliano, and Fons Salera.
