Solero is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) east of Turin and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,661 and an area of 22.7 square kilometres (8.8 sq mi).[1] It borders the following municipalities: Alessandria, Felizzano, Oviglio, and Quargnento.
