WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center is a major hospital located in Marietta, Georgia, serving most of northern and central Cobb County. It was acquired by the WellStar Health System in 2006. It is the only hospital in Georgia with a Cyberknife radiosurgery system. In 2011, the hospital was upgraded to a Level II trauma center, making it the third level II trauma center in metro Atlanta (the other two being the Gwinnett Medical Center and North Fulton Medical Center. In early 2013, WellStar Kennestone Hospital (as it is still usually called by the public) was renamed WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center.[1]
